District heating and cooling are proven urban systems for capturing, moving and using heat and providing cold efficiently. They hold great potential to be key factors for a more resilient and sustainable energy system. The use and integration of heating and cooling networks are interconnected in society through economic, environmental and energy considerations. Therefore, ensuring the future success of district heating and cooling calls for a multi-disciplinary approach to research and development. This multi-disciplinary approach is reflected in the framework of the 15th International Symposium on District Heating and Cooling.

The 15th International Symposium on District Heating and Cooling is the world’s gathering place for district heating and cooling experts from academia and industry. It's where new networks are built and newest knowledge is shared: in the event halls, in and around sessions, along the industry tour and in various special events.
